Anti-Spam Policy

Last updated: January 17, 2026

Our Commitment

MSC Marketing maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward spam. We are committed to ensuring our platform is used only for legitimate, permission-based email marketing.

All users must comply with applicable anti-spam legislation, including but not limited to CAN-SPAM (USA), GDPR (EU), PECR (UK), and CASL (Canada).

What Constitutes Spam?

Spam includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unsolicited commercial email (UCE)
  • Emails sent to recipients without proper consent
  • Messages with false or misleading headers
  • Emails with deceptive subject lines
  • Messages that don't include a valid unsubscribe mechanism
  • Emails sent to purchased, rented, or scraped lists
  • Bulk messages sent without regard for recipient preferences

Permission Requirements

All email recipients must have given explicit consent to receive your emails. Acceptable forms of consent include:

Express Consent (Preferred)

  • Opt-in forms on your website
  • Checkbox confirmation during purchase
  • Written consent (digital or physical)
  • Verbal consent (documented)

Double Opt-In (Recommended)

We strongly recommend using double opt-in, where subscribers confirm their subscription via email. This provides:

  • Verified email addresses
  • Clear consent documentation
  • Higher engagement rates
  • Better deliverability
  • Reduced spam complaints

Prohibited List Sources

The following list sources are strictly prohibited:

  • Purchased email lists
  • Rented email lists
  • Scraped or harvested email addresses
  • Lists obtained from third parties without proper consent transfer
  • Lists collected through deceptive means
  • Publicly available email addresses (unless consent is obtained)
  • Lists older than 2 years without re-confirmation

Required Email Elements

Every email sent through our platform must include:

  • Valid Sender Information: Accurate "From" name and email address
  • Physical Address: Valid postal address of the sender
  • Unsubscribe Link: Clear, working one-click unsubscribe mechanism
  • Honest Subject Line: Subject must accurately reflect content
  • Ad Identifier: Clear indication if the email is an advertisement

Unsubscribe Requirements

You must:

  • Include a visible unsubscribe link in every email
  • Process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
  • Never charge a fee or require additional information to unsubscribe
  • Honor unsubscribe requests permanently (unless re-subscribed)
  • Not require login to unsubscribe

Monitoring and Enforcement

We actively monitor for spam and abuse through:

  • Complaint rate monitoring
  • Bounce rate analysis
  • Spam trap detection
  • Content scanning
  • User reports
  • Pattern recognition algorithms

Accounts that exceed acceptable complaint thresholds (typically 0.1%) may face suspension or termination.

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this anti-spam policy may result in:

  • Warning notification
  • Temporary sending suspension
  • Reduced sending limits
  • Account termination without refund
  • Reporting to relevant authorities
  • Legal action to recover damages
